On October 15, 2021, the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition came to an end. The First Clinical School of Medicine entered the competition finals for the first time and won 4 gold medals. All the participants not only won the national gold, but also won gold in all events, entered the top three qualifying competition, and won a single award for the first time!

With the care and support of the university and brother colleges, First Clinical School of Medicine attached great importance to it, carefully organized and coordinated all the departments of the college to prepare for the competition. The participating teachers and students explored and polished their projects tirelessly day and night. The projects “Compound Coptidis Oil-the First Quick-acting and Scarless Healing Oil” (undergraduate creative group), “Omwick, Protects Your Stomach—Opening a New Era of Helicobacter pylori Immunity” (undergraduate creative group), “Fluorescence Microvision—Leading New Changes in Rapid Inspection Technology for Food Safety” (undergraduate creative group), “New Chinese Medicine Recipe for Prevention and Treatment of Respiratory Virus Disease Infection - Chaihu Qingwen Recipe” (postgraduate creative group) overcome difficulties, and won Gold Awards in all four parts in the finals. Among them, “Omwick” and “Fluorescent Microvision” entered the top three qualifying competition with the first place in the group stage, and won the third and fourth place respectively in the undergraduate creative group of the higher education main track, and won the “Most Commercial Value Award” and “Best Promotion of Employment Award” individual awards. At the same time, the First Clinical School of Medicine won the bronze medal in the international track as the invited unit.

It is reported that this competition has a total of 4,347 colleges and universities from 121 countries and regions, more than 2.28 million projects, and more than 9.56 million people signed up for the competition, which has greatly boosted the enthusiasm of college students for innovation and entrepreneurship. The project from Nanchang University finally won the championship, the project from Beihang University won the second runner-up, and the project from Stanford University, Zhejiang University, Columbia University, and Oxford University won the third runner-up.
