On August 2, the 2021 Jiangxi Foreign Aid Medical Work Summary and Commendation Meeting and the 2022 Foreign Aid Medical Team Predeparture Training Course Openning Ceremony were held in Nanchang. Shi Guoxiang from the Cardiovascular Department and Zhao Yanping from the General Surgery Department of the 25th batch medical team assisting Tunisia sent by our hospital, and Xu Chen from the General Surgery Department of 16th batch assisting Chad successfully completed the foreign aid medical mission. At the meeting, Shi Guoxiang and Xu Chen were awarded the title of outstanding members of Jiangxi Foreign Aid Medical Team in 2021.

In December 2020, Shi Guoxiang, Zhao Yanping and Xu Chen went to Africa thousands of miles away to carry out foreign medical aid mission. During the foreign aid work, the team members were brave and enterprising, overcame many difficulties involving environment, language and epidemic, provided high-quality medical services to the people of the recipient countries through superb medical skills and noble medical ethics with hear and soul, fully carried forward the spirit of "Fearless of hardship, Willing to contribute, Saving the dying and healing the wounded, and Boundless love", and successfully completed the foreign aid medical mission. At the same time, they actively participated in the local epidemic prevention and control work, and promoted the Chinese experience, which was highly recognized and praised by the local government and people.
