On April 2, the first Vascular Access Center of Excellence (COE) project in Jiangxi Province, jointly built by our hospital and Jiangxi Institute of Integrated Medicine, was officially launched. It is the second nationwide demonstration base for vascular access discipline and talent training, following the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. The Vascular Access COE aims to focus on the comprehensive capacity building of vascular access, promote the overall level of medical care through concept introduction, skill optimization, talent training and other dimensions, and promote the extension and coverage of the vascular access professional service network relying on the resources of the medical consortium, so as to provide professional, convenient, reassuring and caring services for patients.

The vascular access COE project launched by our hospital will introduce authoritative RNCE certification training system, build a more comprehensive training system in the field of vascular access that is in line with international standards, provide a full range of vascular access nursing theory and practice courses for students at different levels, closely combine international concepts with clinical practice, and promote the professional ability of students. On this basis, the project will also focus on the actual needs of nursing practitioners at different levels, introduce more diversified training contents, such as department management, interpersonal communication, and so on, to further expand the ability dimension and help career development. The project will also promote the ability of high-quality nursing to sink to the grass-roots counties and cities through the joint construction of departments, city tour and other activities, so as to achieve the overall improvement of the level of vascular access nursing in the region and optimize the medical experience of patients.
